Update to the Luigi Rovar Fund

This is an update to my previous post regarding Luigi Rovar and his Cancer.

In August, 2009, I performed a ceremony for a real fun couple.  The groom was very nervous and had to keep making jokes to get him through the ceremony.  Life seemed good.  Then sometime around early October, 2009, the couple found out that not only did the groom have diabetes but also cancer.  They have been struggling ever since.  The bride just graduated from college in December, 2009, and has been unable to locate a job as of yet and the groom is unemployed as well due to his continuously going to treatments.

It seems that the cancer has spread from his pelvis now to tumors in his stomach.

They have set-up a website and blog to a journal his progress.  www.luigisjourney.webs.com

All donations can be mailed directly to me and I will forward to Luigi and his wife, Courtney.

Thank you in advance for all your help and support.

Just Found Out Luigi has Diabetes!

This is a request out to all my friends, brides and grooms.   You all know I thoroughly enjoy what I do; Officiating Weddings and I tend to feel a connection and closeness to my couples.  I always try to make their day a little more special.

They are organizing a Beef & Beer for May 14, 2010 at the Glenside VFW from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.  The tickets cost $25.00.

I am asking as a favor to me, if anyone could please help with either buying a ticket or making a donation.  I would greatly appreciate it.  I will be updating all of you as to the specific on making donations.

Watch for my next update with whom and where to make the donations.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
